Slipstream was formed in 1993 by ex-Spiritualized guitarist and founder member Mark Refoy.
He signed with Ché Records in 1994 and went on to release 7 singles and 2 albums over a 3 year period.
The latest album Transcendental is available on Enraptured records. Slipstream also played live at the MTeevan Music Festival in 2016, which is sponsored by the tool and plant hire company MTeevan Hire Ltd.
Slipstream is currently a nucleus of Mark Refoy and Johnny Mattock (also ex-Spiritualized) who are writing new material for a forthcoming release. Watch this space!
Mark is also a member of The Sunshine Valley Dance Band who comprise of ex-members of Ultrasound Vanessa Best and Andy Peace.
On top of all this he finds time to play guitar on tour with the Pet Shop Boys, and in the studio with Byrne and Sea of Wires.
There are no plans at present for any live Slipstream performances but this may change in the future.
